Tony Tolbert
Military Veteran, Master’s Degree in Business Management with a minor in Human Resources. Level 3 Certification in Program Management and Life Cycle Logistics, Army Acquisition Corps Member, and have held the following positions throughout my career: Management Analyst, Functional Acquisition Specialist, Facility and Security Specialist, Facility Manager, Alcohol Drug Control Officer, Inventory Management Specialist; Petroleum Oils Lubricants Foreman; and Supply Officer.
Managed a 19-month Professional Development Leadership Program (PDLP); Corresponded and negotiated with senior university officials CEO’s and presidents of various academia colleges/universities and corporations; developed performance and statements of work; develop independent government cost estimates; established requirements and monitored performance quality/assurance issues; represented the organization at various conferences, symposia, road shows, and workshops; planned, directed, organized, controlled, coordinated, reviewed, and approved the efforts of contractors in support of various programs; planned, organized and scheduled the work of contractors to include defining the standards for quality, timeliness, and assessing the results in terms of effectiveness and cost; served as action officer on various projects and initiatives of major scope that required me to lead Integrate Product Teams (IPTs); counseled and advise personnel including senior management; served on interview panels; managed warehouse operations; addressed and resolved all customer complaint/issues; and as a military veteran serving with the 2nd Infantry Division advised the commander on acquisition strategy to support major military Division advised the commander on acquisition strategy to support major military joining training exercises as well as field training exercises and garrison operations.
